Pull-A-Part Helps Drive Community Impact at the 15th Annual Mad Ave Derby

Pull-A-Part proudly sponsored the 15th Annual Mad Ave Derby on Saturday, October 24, in Decatur, Georgia, marking its eighth year of support since 2018. Held in a neighborhood near Pull-A-Part Atlanta South, this year’s event raised funds for the Decatur Education Foundation’s “Lighten the Load” program. Nearly 100 racers took to the downhill course in unique, hand-built racecars. Pull-A-Part added to the fun with free bags, small tools, and accessories for parents.

“Lighten the Load” helps students and families meet essential needs so children can focus on learning. Support includes school-day snacks to help keep hunger from becoming a barrier, clothing, toiletries, and other personal necessities that build comfort and confidence. Emergency assistance also provides a safety net for families facing immediate crises.

Since 2011, the derby has raised over $300,000 for charities benefiting children in Decatur. Pull-A-Part is proud to support an event that brings neighbors together while making a lasting difference for local families.
