Local and State Legislators Tour Pull-A-Part Columbia
Pull-A-Part of Columbia recently welcomed local and state legislators for a behind-the-scenes look at our operations and the role automotive recycling plays in the communities we serve.
Led by Pull-A-Part Senior Vice President Derick Corbett, the tour gave attendees a firsthand look at the journey vehicles take after arriving at our facility. From vehicle processing and parts reuse to recycling materials, the group learned how our operations help extend the useful life of automotive parts while responsibly managing vehicles at the end of their life cycle.
The tour also highlighted the environmental and safety standards that are an important part of our daily operations. Our team discussed how vehicles are carefully processed before entering the yard, including the proper handling of hazardous fluids and other materials, as well as the procedures we have in place to help provide a safe environment for both our employees and customers.
Beyond our day-to-day operations, the visit provided an opportunity to share how Pull-A-Part gives back to the communities where we live and work. Through charitable partnerships, community events, first responder training opportunities, and our Fueling Futures program, our stores work to make a positive impact beyond the automotive recycling industry.
We were proud to host our local and state leaders at Pull-A-Part Columbia and provide a closer look at our people, processes, and commitment to responsible automotive recycling.
