Comments: This 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP is the answer when it comes to an affordable performance sedan. The GTP takes the 3.8 V6 featured in lower trim levels and adds a supercharger to it, boosting power to 240hp and 280lb-ft of torque. May not seem like overwhelming numbers, but even in 1999, this car had some serious bang for its buck. This example does have a bit of miles on the odometer, but one of this car's strengths was its reliability. Even at 236k miles, it has no issues starting up and changing gear. Cosmetically, there's of room for improvement; the paint is faded, front left fender is cracked, driver's seat has rips, and driver's door card is held together with tape. Aside from the door card and a missing rear view mirror, the interior has actually held up fairly well over the years and miles.
