Pull-A-Part is the environmentally responsible way to recycle your old car.  Upon buying your vehicle, we make it ready for display on our salvage yard.   This usually  includes removal and recycling of fluids as well as processing of some metals.

From there, your vehicle will be placed on the yard so that our do-it-yourself parts customers can pull the parts they need.

After a while, your vehicle completes the recycling process, where it is flattened, and shipped to metal buyers.

In some instances, vehicles we obtain are in such road ready condition, that they may qualify for re-sale as used vehicles.  If so, locations that sell used vehicles may place them on the lot for purchase and on-road use instead of placing them on the yard for do-it-yourself parts customers.

Great question.  Generally speaking, cars should be titled in the seller's name for the smoothest process possible.  That said, certain state and local regulations allow other approaches to the issue of your name being on the title.  We keep this information at our Car Buy Call Center as well as at our store locations.  Checking with either is strongly recommended as acceptable documentation changes periodically.

No, we will not purchase a vehicle that still has a loan or lien.  You'll need to either pay off the loan before you sell it to us, or visit a new or used car dealership nearby that regularly pays off vehicle loans as part of their sales process.
