Pull-A-Part Sponsors 14th Annual Madison Ave Soapbox Derby

On Saturday, October 25th, Pull-A-Part sponsored the 14th Annual Madison Ave Soapbox Derby in Decatur, Georgia. This was the seventh time Pull-A-Part has supported the event since 2018. Held in a neighborhood near Pull-A-Part Atlanta South, the annual event raised $25,000 for Decatur Education Foundation's "Lighten the Load" program. "Lighten the Load" offers hope, support, and opportunities to students who need it most, providing a comprehensive range of support services. Through the "Lighten the Load" program, students gain access to snacks during the school day, guaranteeing that hunger is not a barrier to learning. Students are also provided with clothing, toiletries, and essential personal items to boost their self-esteem and confidence. And for families facing immediate crises, "Lighten the Load" offers emergency assistance to provide a safety net during tough times.

Close to 100 racers brought their unique, hand-built racecars to the quarter-mile track on a perfect October day. Pull-A-Part provided free frisbees, games, and toys for the kids, as well as small tools and accessories for the parents.
