Video Transcript

Greetings, viewers. Eric, the car guy. I'm going to show you how to remove the hood on this Honda Accord. Going to start by opening the hood. Oh, my, there's no engine. Prop it up. It's going to be fastened on each end at the hinges. In this case, there's four 10 millimeter fasteners that hold it on. In addition, this has already been broken, but the washer hoses may be connected to the washer nozzles underneath the hood. These were broken. If you can, try to avoid breaking these because these can be just as important as the hood itself. So now I'm going to lift up the hood so I get better access to the fasteners. And I'm just going to do it the quick way. 10 millimeter. Might be helpful to have a buddy to help you with something like this. Same thing on this side, this one is already missing, but it normally would be there. Now that all the fasteners were removed, you can you just pick it up, take it away. And that's how you remove a hood on a Honda Accord. I'm Eric, the car guy. Thank you for watching. Be safe, have fun, stay dirty.
