Hey, guys. What's going on? This is Brian from the YouTube channel Classic G-Body Garage. And today I'm doing a DIY and Drive tutorial for Pull-A-Part Used Auto Parts.
All right, so in this video I'm going to remove the mass airflow sensor off this 2004 Chevy Impala. The mass air flow sensor is located right up on top here in between the air box and the throttle body. It's held on just by a couple of clamps. And all you need is a flat head screwdriver for this job.
Alright, well this mass airflow sensor is just held on with a couple of clamps. And all you need to do is loosen those up with a flat head screwdriver. And then, let's just go ahead and unplug it while we're at it right there. Go ahead and loosen up these clamps. And the second one.
Alright, so the clamps are loose. So everything is loose. So now what I need to do is go ahead and pull the boots back off of either side. And this should pull right out. Alright, well there you go. Mass air flow sensor removed. Alright, well we got this mass air flow sensor removed off of this Chevy Impala. And it really was simple. All it took was a flat head screwdriver and a little bit of tugging and pulling to get it out of place.
So investing a little bit of time pulling your own parts is going to save you a lot of money in the end, while keeping your vehicle on the road. This is Brian with Classic G-Body Garage. Thanks for watching.
