How to Remove a Tie Rod from a Toyota Camry

Instructions

  • Print

    Use 19mm wrench to loosen jam nut that keeps inner and outer tie rod

  • 2

    Remove castle nut by taking off cotter pin and loosening with 18mm wrench

  • 3

    Remove outer tie rod from spindle using hammer (hit edge of spindle)

  • 4

    Unthread the tie rod from the outer piece
