How to Remove a Front Seat Belt From a Toyota Camry

Applies to: TOYOTA CAMRY (2000)

Pull Tip: The seat belt is part of the airbag system in some vehicles. Be sure to disconnect the black battery cable and wait at least 15 minutes before removing the seat belt.

  • 10mm Socket
  • 14mm Socket
  • Ratchet
  • Plastic Trim Tool

Instructions

  • Print
  • 1

    Remove plastic trim pieces with trim stick

  • 2

    Pull up on cover to expose lower 14mm fastener

  • 3

    Loosen 14mm fastener

  • 4

    Remove cover to expose upper 14mm fastener

  • 5

    Disconnect electrical connector (if present)

  • 6

    Remove 10mm bolt and remove seat belt assembly
