How to Remove a Front Fender From a Toyota Camry

Applies to: TOYOTA CAMRY (2000)

2000 Toyota Camry

Pull Tip: Don't remove fender liner with fender attached. Remove the front fender assembly with the fender liner attached - you can remove it later once the fender is removed from the vehicle.

Estimated Pull Time: 20 Minutes

Recommended Tools

  • Phillips Head Screwdriver
  • Flathead Screwdriver
  • 10mm Socket
  • Ratchet
  • Plastic Trim Tool
  • Pliers
  • Ratchet Extensions

Instructions

  • Print
  • 1

    Remove the front bumper cover (see separate video)

  • 2

    Remove the 10mm fasteners with front door open

  • 3

    Remove top plastic fastener using flat tip screwdriver

  • 4

    Release front headlight assembly using plastic trim stick and remove electrical connector

  • 5

    Remove three 10mm fasteners along top of fender assembly

  • 6

    Remove plastic fastener with Phillips screwdriver

  • 7

    Remove additional two 10mm fasteners

  • 8

    Remove final eight 10mm bolts from underside of fender assembly

  • 9

    Remove fender from vehicle and remove fasteners with Phillips screwdriver and pliers
