Hey, everybody, Charles for HumbleMechanic.com back with another DIY and Drive tutorial with Pull-A-Part Used Auto Parts. Today, I'm going to show you how to remove a headlight on an Audi. Now, you're going to need to remove the bumper cover before taking the headlight out. Refer to my other video I did, and I'll show you exactly how to do that. The tools we're going to need for this job is going to be a T30 torques, as well as a long extension to reach the bottom fastener. Now, we have a total of four fasteners holding on the headlight. We have two at the top, one here, and one here. To get to the lower, outer fastener, we need to go through this access hole with our T30. And finally, the two on the top.
Now that we have the fasteners removed, we can go ahead and pull the headlight out. Now, you may need to persuade it a little bit, because I purposefully left that very first bolt in the headlight. We also don't want to cause any damage to our electrical connectors. With the headlight removed, we can easily disconnect our electrical connector, and here is that bolt that I deliberately left in place.
All right, guys, this is Charles for HumbleMechanic.com. Thanks for watching, and I will see you next time.
